Marvel/Disney Theme Park...

Oh my stars and garters! I was beginning to wonder if the House of Mouse would uproot Universal Studios Adventure Island. While it has been home to Marvel properties for many years and a fond visit for me to Orlando, there was always the looming question of "IF" it was going to remain. Hmmm?
Well, the park is going to stay where it is. Too bad, it would have been entertaining to watch all those Marvel characters go "flying" on crane wires as they are hauled out of the park and placed on trailers... LOL!
Interested? Check out Newsarama...

Disney Acquires Marvel Entertainment?!

O'kay... SO CRAZY! I have officially been "WOW'd". This sounds like a great way for Marvel to continue on as a global brand w/out worrying about going bankrupt (again) but I fear the character development will grow out of control w/ product marketing.
I swear, IF I see the movies or my "MATURE READER" books that I pick up take to a lighter note or even worse, just plain non-sense moral messages hidden in the writing, I will go over to the dark side... And read DC Comics. LOL!
Seriously, if you have not read the story on marvel.com then you should not be flipping out. This purchase will bring strength to Marvel much in the way that Warner Brothers has been able to support DC in its ventures. Please, read the link and then throw in your 2 cents. Until then, "HUSH"!

MARVEL DIGITAL COMICS ROCK!

Holy crap! I should have posted this earlier...
http://marvel.com/videos/794.Spider-Woman_Motion_Comics_Trailer
So if I'm not mistaken, Marvel has put another notch in it's belt in the entertainment industry. The digital age of comics looks pretty good. An interview said that it would not create any conflict w/ in store sales (GAWD forbid! I love my comic shop- Vault of Midnight; in Ann Arbor).
I think the art by ALex Maleev looks great and will serve the noir-thriller well.
Just check the damn thing out and quit reading this....

MARVEL MAKES IT OFFICIAL

Well ladies and gentlemen. Marvel has been gracious enough to give all us fans and creative minds an outlet for our desire to succeed for so long. They have now closed the "open submissions" door and pulled the blinds. Does anybody else hear that Semisonic song "Closing Time"?
Check out the read that covers the sad telling of Marvel's decision....
